Common Questions

What makes Epiduo® (adapalene and benzoyl peroxide) Gel, 0.1%/2.5% different?
Epiduo® Gel is the only topical acne treatment that combines adapalene and benzoyl peroxide to help clear breakouts you have now and prevent future pimples from forming. The duo’s been proven to work better together than they do alone, so having them in a single treatment could mean fewer co-pays, more convenience and most of all, better results.
Who can use Epiduo® Gel?
Epiduo® Gel is intended for anyone at least 12 years old with acne vulgaris. Let an expert decide the best treatment for your specific skin. Ask your doctor if Epiduo® Gel is right for you.
Does it matter when I use my Epiduo® Gel?
No, and that’s what’s so great about it. You just use it once daily. It’s important not to skip days so it may be easiest to work it into your regular morning or evening routine, like using it right after you brush your teeth and wash your face.
How much Epiduo® should I use?
Follow your doctor’s instructions, but typically a pea-sized portion spread evenly on affected areas is enough. Using more won’t speed things up; stick with the right amount and stay consistent for best results. Don’t spot treat.
What if I forget to use my Epiduo® Gel?
Skipping a day can allow new pimples to begin forming beneath the skin’s surface. So try to make Epiduo® Gel part of your regular nighttime or morning routine. If you miss a day, just start the next day with the same pea-sized amount you always use.
